LEARN MORE ABOUT COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, INC. Established on June 29, 1992, Communities In Schools of South Carolina, Inc. (CISSC) is a not-for-profit organization that serves as the state office for the South Carolina CIS Network. The state office provides assistance and support to the local CIS organizations throughout South Carolina. Support includes strong and effective state leadership, the formation of state level partnerships; the provision of training, technical assistance and community development; and assistance with financial and in-kind support.

OUR MISSION The mission of Communities In Schools of South Carolina, Inc. is to champion the connection of needed community resources with schools to help young people successfully learn, stay in school and prepare for life.
