  • 98% of the 129 CIS students tracked as potential dropouts remained in school.


  • 91% of the 3, 157 CIS students tracked for attendance problems approved in attendance.


  • 78% of the 1,773 CIS students tracked for academic performance showed improvement.


  • 94% of the 2,041 CIS students tracked for promotion risk were promoted to the next grade.



  • CIS local affiliates that track students after high school reported that 39% of their students went on to some form of postsecondary education, while 57% entered the workforce and 4% joined the military.




  • Dropouts are nearly twice as likely to be dissatisfied with their personal lives as high school graduates.




  • Dropouts average income is half that of high school graduates.
